Born and raised in Leamington, Paul graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Law in 1993. Following completion of his term as an Articling Student with our firm, he was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995 and joined the firm as an Associate. Paul became a Partner in 2002.
Paul's practice was a general practice with an emphasis on real estate (residential, agricultural and commercial), wills and estates and corporate/commercial transactions. Paul's agricultural background gave him keen insight into the many legal issues affecting the local greenhouse and agricultural community.
Paul passed away on April 2, 2014 after a two year battle with brain cancer. He is sadly missed by his partners, co-workers and clients.
"It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul."
Invictus William Ernest Henley.
To our friend, my partner, Paul Enns who was the captain of his soul to the very end of his courageous battle of over 2 years, always positive, never a complaint or any sign of self-pity or weakness. How much we have learned from you and how you have enriched the lives of all of those around you. We are grieving our loss of you but rejoicing for having the privilege and honour to have known and shared so much with you for so long. We will miss you profoundly.
